How much can you get for a bottle or can?
- * 5¢ for containers less than 24 ounces
- * 10¢ for containers 24 ounces and larger
What beverages have CRV?
- * Carbonated Soft Drinks
- * Wine Coolers
- * Distilled Spirit Coolers
- * Beer
- * Carbonated and Mineral Water
- * Non-carbonated Water
- * Sports Drinks
- * Coffee and Tea Drinks
- * Fruit Drinks
- * Fruit Juices packed in containers less than 46 oz.
- * Vegetable juice in containers 16 oz. or less
Containers eligible for CRV will have CA Cash Refund, CA Redemption Value or similar wording on the label. See our CRV materials list for more info.
The program does not cover any beverage container product type that is not specifically included by the Act.
What beverages don't have CRV?

- * Medical Food
- * Nutritional Supplements
- * Infant Formula
- * Wine
- * 100% fruit Juice in containers 46 ounces or more
- * Vegetable Juice in containers larger than 16 ounces
